Picture this: two towers connected by The Link, a crazy long walkway floating 100 meters above the streets – it’s officially the world’s longest cantilevered building.

Save the date for the grand opening on 31st January, 2024! Hilton Group is gearing up for another exciting debut in Seychelles with Waldorf Astoria Platte Island. Situated just over 130 kilometers south of Mahé and nestled in a pristine atoll surrounded by palm forests, migratory seabirds, and protected turtles, this resort is set to make waves!

Waldorf Astoria’s Seychelles debut will feature 50 seafront villas, each equipped with private pools and a personal concierge service. Providing guests with full privacy and easy access to their own piece of paradise.

This striking 30-story tower, envisioned by the acclaimed architects Foster + Partners, boasts thoughtful interiors crafted by the renowned Parisian design duo Gilles & Boissier. The ‘pièce de résistance‘? The Lana’s Royal Suite, a sprawling 3,822 sq. ft. sanctuary offering unrivalled 180-degree views of the city and marina.

A 225-key hotel spanning 30 levels in a purpose-built tower, The Lana embodies the cosmopolitan spirit of Dubai. Each room will feature deep-soaking bathtubs strategically positioned by the windows for an immersive experience. The 29th floor will house the spa and wellness center, while the 30th will be dedicated to the rooftop pool, transforming into a chic lounge as night falls.

The interiors will showcase sixty-nine suites among light-flooded rooms, all strategically designed to capture panoramic views from the iconic Burj Khalifa to mesmerizing sunsets through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Dining at The Lana promises to be an exploration of global culinary excellence, with options ranging from a Mediterranean restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating to the signature restaurant and lounge on the 18th floor, offering a unique experiential concept.

6. AMAN, Janu Tokyo

- Scheduled to open in March 2024

In March 2024, Aman Group will launch Janu, a Tokyo venture featuring 122 rooms in the Azabudai Hills development. This flagship property boasts eight restaurants, two boutiques, and a sprawling wellness center.


Renowned designer Jean-Michel Gathy curated the Asian-European aesthetic interiors, including the captivating Janu suite. With private balconies, double vanities, and panoramic views, Janu Tokyo will offer luxury in every detail.


For those seeking a holistic wellness experience, Janu Tokyo’s 4,000-square-meter wellness center is one of the largest in the Japanese capital. With movement studios hosting group classes, simulated golf training, circuit training, and an extensive gym, it’s designed for shared social experiences and collective joy.


For dining options, the hotel will feature eight restaurants, including an Italian eatery, a French patisserie, and a traditional Cantonese restaurant, culinary enthusiasts will find themselves in a gastronomic wonderland. Sumi, a modern Japanese charcoal grill; Iigura, offering sashimi and small plates; and Janu Grill, with an open kitchen and two wine cellars, are set to be highlights.
